To assist traders with ICS2 preparations, HMRC has issued an invite for members to attend a live webinar dedicated to ICS2 requirements for movements into Northern Ireland and the EU.
The webinar is aimed at businesses who send goods from Great Britain to Northern Ireland (GB to NI) or the EU (GB to EU) by parcels or freight via roll on-roll off-ferry.
Originally, these movements were expected to migrate to ICS2 by 1st September 2025, marking the end of the deployment window.
However, due to specific challenges across ICS2 territories for Northern Ireland trade flows, additional time was needed and the new target is no later than December 31st 2025.
To assist you with preparations, the HMRC hosted online event will be on Thursday 9th October 2025 from 11am to 12pm, where attendees will be taken through the requirements and speakers will cover the subjects below:
- information about ICS2
- what additional information you’ll need to provide in your declarations
- how to submit arrival and presentation of goods notifications
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions on the day or pre-submit them in advance.
The webinar will be held on Microsoft Teams and you can register for the livestream and submit questions by completing the form linked HERE. Once you have completed registration, you will receive a joining link.
The MultiFreight team recommend attending the webinar if you are not up to speed with the incoming regulations.
