Integrated Freight and Finance: MultiFreight Partners with iplicit

MultiFreight, one of the UK’s leading independent providers of freight management software, has partnered with iplicit to offer customers a fully integrated cloud finance solution alongside its logistics platform.

With more than 50 years of industry heritage, MultiFreight supports freight forwarders and logistics businesses across the UK and internationally with software covering freight management, customs clearance, warehousing, customer portals and business reporting.

The partnership with iplicit extends this offering with a modern finance platform designed to integrate seamlessly with MultiFreight, helping customers streamline processes, improve reporting and reduce manual administration across the business.

“We integrate with numerous accounting systems, but we wanted a finance platform that could strengthen our overall offering and provide a more connected experience for customers,” says Ian Taylor, Managing Director of MultiFreight.

“After investigating the market, I was introduced to iplicit. The software has the functionality our customers need and, just as importantly, I liked the company’s approach. Customer service and long-term relationships are very important to both businesses.”

The integration enables customers to benefit from a joined-up operational and finance solution, combining MultiFreight’s logistics software with iplicit’s cloud accounting platform. MultiFreight expects freight businesses to achieve significant time savings through automation of tasks such as bank reconciliation, accounts payable, fixed asset depreciation, accruals and prepayments – alongside easier multi-entity accounting and the ability to analyse data down to individual projects.

“This gives our customers the benefits of an end-to-end solution covering invoicing, approvals, reporting and financial management – all within one integrated solution,” says Ian Taylor.

MultiFreight believes the partnership will be particularly attractive to freight businesses currently operating on older on-premises or legacy finance systems and looking for a more scalable solution as they grow.

The first joint customer to go live with the integrated solution was Spedition Services Ltd.

Jennine Garner, Head of Accounts at Spedition Services Ltd, says: “Moving to iplicit has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. The platform is already proving to be a huge timesaver, significantly streamlining our accounting processes. The implementation process was smooth and straightforward from start to finish, and the integration with MultiFreight is already helping improve efficiency and visibility across the business.”

The partnership also gives customers access to iplicit’s AI platform, iplicit AI Pulse, which includes conversational reporting that allows users to query their live financial data without separate tools or report-building – alongside MultiFreight’s established freight, customs and warehousing software.

MultiFreight, together with iplicit, will be exhibiting at Multimodal 2026, the UK’s leading supply chain and logistics event, at the NEC Birmingham from 30 June to 2 July 2026. Visit the team on stand G5.
