MultiFreight was honoured to attend and help arrange the 6th Annual Felixstowe Port Users Association (FPUA) Charity Golf Day, held on 23 May 2025 at the Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club.
The event once again proved to be a highlight in the local logistics calendar, raising a remarkable £13,000 for several local and national charities.
These included Felixstowe Park Run, Trimley St Mary Primary School, Old Felixstowe Nursery, the Little Princess Trust, 4YP (For Young People), and the Felixstowe Disability Pride Event.
This year’s contribution brings the total funds raised over the past six years to an impressive £54,500. This achievement highlights the generosity, commitment, and community spirit that the event consistently fosters.
The day brought together logistics and port professionals for a fun-filled day of friendly competition, all in the name of charity. The event truly celebrated both camaraderie and philanthropy.
MultiFreight was thrilled to welcome two valued customers, Simon Watts of Energy Freight Forwarding and Mark Pake of Southampton Freight Services, who joined their team for the event. The pair joined MultiFreight Managing Director Ian Taylor and Business Development Manager Simon Scarfe, to work together for a great cause.
Jason Flower, Chair of the FPUA, expressed his gratitude for the ongoing support and generosity shown year after year. He also gave special thanks to Ian Taylor and the FPUA committee for their hard work in making the day possible.
A big thank you should also be extended to Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club for their exceptional hospitality and support, which contributes to the event’s continued success.
