MultiFreight joined customers and members of the community on Friday evening to attend the annual charity boxing event hosted by the Rotary Club of Felixstowe.
The popular event, which raises thousands of pounds for charity each year, was held in support of prostate cancer for 2026 and once again attracted strong backing from businesses across Felixstowe and the wider shipping and logistics industry.
Known throughout the local area for its commitment to community initiatives and fundraising, the Rotary Club of Felixstowe continues to play an important role both locally and internationally. Alongside well-established events such as their major annual fun, Santa’s Ride Around Town, their golf days and charity dinners, the club is also part of Rotary International — a worldwide organisation made up of more than 1.4 million members across around 200 countries.
MultiFreight was proud to support the evening and sponsor some of the companies involved, we also invited several valued customers to join the event and enjoy a fantastic evening of entertainment, networking and fundraising.
Attending on behalf of MultiFreight were Ian Taylor – Managing Director, James Baker – Senior Application Consultant and Nick Davies – Customs Specialist.
We would also like to thank the customers that joined us; Andy Stanhope – Freight Logic, Ross Negus – Southampton Freight Services, Mike Stanton – Allclear Logistics, Gareth Carr – WS Logistics, Andy Polley – Sovereign Cargo and Matthew Deer – Gateway Cargo.
A fun and memorable night was had by all while helping to raise valuable funds for an important cause — demonstrating the value of bringing together customers, partners and the local community in support of charity.
