MultiFreight are delighted to once again sponsor the Annual Suffolk Sportsman’s Dinner, one of the region’s most anticipated sporting and social events. Organised by Felixstowe and Walton United Football Club, this year’s event will take place at Venue 16, Ipswich.

Now celebrating its 36th year, the Suffolk Sportsman’s Dinner has become a long-standing fixture in the local calendar, bringing together sports fans, businesses and the wider community for an evening of entertainment and fundraising. This year’s event, being held in September, will mark the seventh consecutive year that MultiFreight have proudly supported it as sponsors.

Guests attending the dinner can look forward to an evening packed with entertainment, headlined by former professional footballer Dean Windass. Best known for his time with clubs including Hull City, Bradford City, Middlesbrough, Sheffield United and Aberdeen, Windass remains one of football’s most memorable personalities. He famously scored the winning goal that secured Hull City’s promotion to the Premier League, cementing his place in the club’s history.

Also performing will be comedian and impressionist Danny Posthill, whose sharp humour and impressive range of celebrity and political impressions are guaranteed to keep guests laughing throughout the night. His performances regularly feature well-known figures including Donald Trump, Nigel Farage and Diane Abbott.

As in previous years, MultiFreight have reserved a table for the event, with guests enjoying a three-course meal complete with cheeseboard, alongside a silent auction and raffle.
