Suez Canal Ship Finally Arriving

The vessel ‘Ever Given’, which blocked the Suez Canal for a week, is finally due to arrive at Felixstowe next week, four months after it left Asia for Europe.

A nightmare for global logistics started in March when the vessel got stuck across the canal and blocked access, delaying shipments from Asia for a few weeks to follow.

After the vessel was removed from the banks of the canal, it became  the subject of a financial dispute between Egyptian authorities, who impounded the ship, and the ship owners, which took a few weeks to remedy.

The vessel was finally allowed to continue its journey to Northern European ports and is due to dock at Felixstowe on August 3rd.
